There’s a plea agreement in one of two sexual assault cases filed in Brazos County involving a man from north of San Antonio.
According to the district attorney’s office, both victims agreed to the punishment given to 29 year old Bill Vehrs III of Spring Branch.
Vehrs was sentenced to two years in prison and was ordered to register as a sex offender.
Both of the attacks were reported four years ago.
Vehrs admitted to assaulting a woman who was 22 at the time.
The second case, involving a Texas A&M student who was attacked in her dorm room, was dismissed by prosecutors due to insufficient evidence.
The prosecutor in both cases said it was during the investigation of what happened at A&M that led to the discovery of the other victim.
