Stolen Pickup In Wednesday Hit And Run Crash Knocked Out Traffic Signals At 29th & Briarcrest

Bryan police continue to look for a man accused of driving a stolen truck that was involved in a hit and run crash near 29th and Briarcrest that caused the traffic signals at that intersection to go dark for more than 30 minutes.

Witnesses told police the driver sustained minor injuries as he fled the scene after the F-350 struck a utility pole on Barak by Greenfield Plaza.

Two hours after the crash, BPD received a report the truck was stolen from the Taco Bell at 29th and Barak.
